You drive trucks to transport animals to farms, alpine pastures, or slaughterhouses while following animal welfare rules.
Transporting animals requires more than a driver's license and route knowledge. You accompany cows, pigs, or horses over long distances. You ensure they reach their destination safely and without stress. Strict rules from the Animal Welfare Act apply. Patience, safety, and a calm touch are essential to prevent injuries and fear. You often work away from the roadside. You take responsibility for the animals' well-being.
