03 · Pathway
Training takes place as a 3-year apprenticeship in a wine-growing business. It includes block courses at the vocational school.

You stand in the vineyard and check the ripeness of the grapes. Then you harvest them carefully and bring them to the cellar. There you monitor the fermentation and taste samples to ensure wine quality.
You work outdoors on the vineyard slopes and indoors in the cellars of wine estates. Most workplaces are located in the well-known wine-growing regions of Switzerland.
