As an Anlagen- und Apparatebauer/in EFZ, you are the technical backbone of production. You read technical drawings, work with metals and assemble complex equipment. Whether in the factory hall or on-site at a customer's location: you ensure that machines and plants function precisely. 03 · Pathway
You complete a 4-year vocational basic training with theoretical classes at the vocational school and practical training at the company
Anlagen- und Apparatebauer/in EFZ
A lateral entry is often possible with additional courses or a vocational supplementary examination
04 · Skills & fit
05 · Daily reality
You stand at the workbench, check the dimensions on the technical drawing and then cut the prepared sheet metal to the required length. After that, you assemble the individual parts into the equipment and weld the joints cleanly before testing the function
You usually work in large factory halls in the metal and machinery industry. For final assembly or maintenance, you also work directly on-site at the customer's location
