- Passed Assessment Center for prospective professional officers (ACABO)
- Knowledge of a second national language
- Driving licence category B
- Employment contract with the Swiss Army
- For Bachelorlehrgang (BLG): gymnasiale Maturität, Berufsmaturität or Fachmaturität
- For Diplomlehrgang (DLG): degree from a university or state-recognised degree from a Fachhochschule

What the work feels like
Typical day
You stand in front of a group of future cadres. You explain tactical leadership steps. Afterwards, you check operational plans. You also coordinate the next training unit.
