You stand at the blast site and check the drill holes for correct charges together with the team. Afterwards, you monitor the safety barriers until the controlled explosion safely loosens the rock.
You work for blasting companies, civil and structural engineering firms, as well as in quarries or engineering offices. For outdoor assignments, you are usually on construction sites or in the field.
