What the work feels like

Typical day

You stand at the control panel of the production plant and check the consistency of the curdled milk. At the same time, you monitor the temperature on screen and record the current process values.

  • You receive milk delivered by tank trucks and check its freshness.
  • You separate cream from milk using centrifuges and pasteurise it.
  • You add rennet and bacterial cultures to coagulate the milk.
  • You monitor the cheese curds and control the ripening process of the cheese wheels.
  • You monitor production plants on screen and fix technical faults.
