Diplom der Vereinigung der Strassenverkehrsämter "Verkehrsexperte/-expertin für die Prüfung von leichten Transportfahrzeugen" bzw. "Verkehrsexperte/-expertin für Führerprüfungen der Kategorie B"

Prerequisites

  • Minimum age 24 years
  • At least three years holding a Swiss driving license category B or C without traffic-endangering violations
  • Meet medical requirements according to Verkehrszulassungsverordnung Annex 1
  • Foreign language skills are an advantage
  • For vehicle inspections: Completion of vocational basic training as Automobil-Mechatroniker/in EFZ, Automobild-Diagnostiker/in EFZ or a technically equivalent profession
  • For vehicle inspections: 1 year of professional practice since basic training
  • For driver tests: Completion of vocational basic training or equivalent training
  • For driver tests: Report on traffic psychological suitability

You stand in the inspection hall. You use special measuring devices to check the brakes and lights of a vehicle. Then you take the wheel to assess dynamic driving under real conditions.

  • You inspect vehicles for operational safety and technical faults in the inspection hall.
