What the work feels like

Typical day

You stand in front of an empty sales floor and check material samples together with the team. At the same time, you coordinate the delivery of the required components by phone.

  • You research trends and create detailed 3D plans for new projects.
  • You select suitable materials and plan the necessary lighting for the atmosphere.
  • You coordinate carpenters and painters to implement the decoration on time.
  • You saw, cut and wallpaper wood, metal or plastic for the construction.
  • You set up advertising materials and print price tags for the presentation.
  • You stage products and design the entire sales floor.
  • You dismantle installations after use and store the materials.

Working conditions

You work in decoration agencies, department stores, museums or exhibition construction companies. You often move between workshops, construction sites and exhibition areas.
