What the work feels like

Typical day

You stand at the preparation post. You check the technical documents and coordinate work on site. If a fault occurs, you drive out immediately. You restore the network infrastructure quickly and safely.

  • You plan the implementation of network infrastructure projects in the office. You create detailed reports for them.
  • You check the construction of cable and overhead line systems. You also check transformer stations for safety.
  • You guide staff members. You ensure that work is carried out efficiently.
  • You operate and maintain energy and telecommunications networks. You do this through regular inspections.
  • You fix faults quickly. You replace damaged parts and switch power.
  • You create final documentation. You train customers on the proper use of the systems.

Working conditions

You work in the office, on construction sites and directly at energy and telecommunications facilities. You also use training rooms. You use them for further training staff and customers.
