Official education path

You complete a federally recognized Bachelor in International Hospitality Management or Business Administration with a focus on Tourism at a University of Applied Sciences (FH).

Typical training path

Eidg. anerkanntes Diplom "Bachelor of Science [FH] in International Hospitality Management" oder "Bachelor of Science in Betriebsökonomie" mit Angabe der Vertiefungsrichtung "Tourismus" oder "Hospitality Management" (beide HSLU)

Prerequisites

  • Abschluss einer gymnasialen Maturität (for HSLU-Vertiefungsrichtung "Tourismus" additionally one year of professional practice in a relevant field)
  • Abschluss einer Grundbildung mit Berufsmaturität
  • Abschluss eines HF-Studiums zum/zur Hôtelier-Restaurateur/Hôtelière-Restauratrice HF
  • Completion of an equivalent qualification (International Baccalaureate IB, A-Levels or another internationally recognized qualification)
  • Berufs- oder höhere Fachprüfung in a relevant field with a passed entrance exam (HSLU)
  • Very good language skills in English and French
  • Passed admission procedure
  • Admission sur dossier possible for other qualifications
  • SHL-Diplom (for the HSLU training in the graduate model)
