What the work feels like
Typical day
You face a new heat pump and check the electrical connections and hydraulic integration. You monitor the pressure values and ensure that the system runs safely and saves energy.
- You commission new heating and heat systems correctly.
- You carry out inspection and measurement work on safety devices.
- You adjust burners and measure exhaust temperatures according to specifications.
- You optimise pumps and integrate renewable energy into existing systems.
- You maintain the systems and quickly fix faults when they occur.
- You work closely with planners and other installers.
Working conditions
You work in heating industry companies or at heat system manufacturers. Because you look after a large number of clients, you are often on construction sites and at customer locations.
