What the work feels like
Typical day
You stand at your sewing station and set up the machine for a new fabric. As the needle moves up and down quickly, you constantly check the seam quality and iron the finished parts flat.
- You prepare different fabrics and sort the individual pattern pieces.
- You operate universal sewing machines and overlock machines for different seams.
- You choose the matching thread and the correct presser foot.
- You set the ironing system to the specified temperature and pressure.
- You attach interfacings and sew the garments together.
